Mystery, Romance, and Adventure...
Yesterday and Today.
A Funny Thing Happened...
If you’re a contemporary of mine, your brain most likely filled in the rest of that (on the Way to the Forum). It was a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, and subsequently, a hit motion picture. It was so popular that the title of this blog became a catchphrase with multiple random ideas making up the last part. I was going to do that, but I couldn’t come up with something appropriate. My first thought was “on my Way to the Post Office” but who mails paper anymore? What was

A Sweet Romance That Will Not Disappoint
I’ve read a lot of books by Misty Beller. She’s a prolific writer with twelve series ranging in length from three books to twelve books each. I’ve read so many from purchases, KU borrows, and a few offered as free downloads, that I recently created a spreadsheet to track which books I have and haven’t read. Let It Snow!
All that anyone on TV or radio or messaging on X is talking about this week is the “catastrophic” ice storm and/or heavy snow due to fall over the weekend. Not in Tucson, of course. Book Review
Mail-Order Bride Secret (Montana Mail-Order Brides Book 5) Linda Ford Rating: * * * A lot of the romance novels I’ve read over the past year or two have disappointed me. Partly, that’s because I tend to read books that don’t cost a lot. Seriously, paying $9.99 for a light romance novel that will take less than a week to read just rubs me the wrong way, but charging that much doesn’t bother traditional publishers at all. And so I read a lot of free and discounted indie books.

Writing Progress 10/31/2025
I’ve been sailing away on Jingle, Jangle, Jingle , the next book in the Rainbow Ranch Mysteries series, making good progress and really enjoying writing this book. It’s one of those rare stories that pretty much all I have to do is sit at my computer, watch the movie that starts playing in my head, and then type very fast. Of course, I did some preplanning, but not nearly as much as I’ve been doing recently. And so I’m largely making it up as I go. This is such fun for a writ
